Long bone of upper arm is called {humerus}. A break may occur as a result of direct blow or twisting force. Thus spiral {fractures} may occur or direct horizontal breaks may be found. Immobolize upper arm with splint, place generous pad between chest & affected arm, then firmly bandage arm to chest. Transfer to hospital.
